Solution: Collaboration and communication

Markers and Annotations
Microsoft Mesh is one of the latest innovations in Microsoft’s ecosystem of MR solutions. Experts in the company believe that blending the real and virtual worlds through mixed reality could be the key to enabling better teamwork. This demand for a mixture of virtual and real-life connections became increasingly obvious in 2020, when the pandemic pushed teams apart.

During 2020, we recognised that although physical collaboration wasn’t convenient when it came to things like time management and travel. However, many business leaders and staff members struggled to achieve the same productivity without a similar “face to face” environment.

Microsoft Mesh promises to give us the best of both worlds (virtual and real). Within a holographic space, users can interact with different people and content in a shared and safe environment.

Solution: Mobile app for food-sharing

End-to-End Experience Design
It’s an app that was born with the sole purpose of bringing an additional support and relief to all those people in a vulnerable situation that may require assistance; that in the light of the hard times we are currently facing due to sanitary emergency caused by Covid-19, those who can lend a hand, can do so with confidence and truthfulness.

For the moment, this app will only be available for Android users. It’s been developed to create a support Network, for those who have the chance to donate time, food and health protection material. It will be open and available nationwide. What this app does is compile both private and public citizen initiatives, so that, whoever registers in the virtual platform to help, will have the certainty that it will be channeled to those who really need it and that their help will reach those most at need.

Solution: Money exchange platform

Business model + End-to-End Experience Design
Thanks to the proximity and dynamics of business as well as demand from the border states of Mexico, we designed a social application which allows users to view the best exchange rates and distance range, so that they can get more value for their transactions, while avoiding traffic and reducing stress.

The application feeds on the information provided by users, as well as by a self-employment system, which consists of transforming registered users into self-employed people who, by feeding the different content in real time, may then be entitled to financial remuneration. Their performance and reliability is validated via an internal voting system which checks whether the updated information is correct for end users.

Samsung Core-apps
Solution: Product Design

Research and User Experience
After the great success of the Galaxy S III cell phone during 2013, Samsung made the decision to redesign the image, usability and efficiency of the calling, messaging, internet search, and email applications. Thanks to the collaboration of Korean and US professionals, we had the opportunity to be part of the research and redesign team that created the new applications, currently the most commonly used applications by users worldwide.

Challenges:
01. Define the balance between the amount of technology and number of functions offered by Samsung, so that users could find the necessary tools and have a better experience.
02. Design the interface, as design techniques were used to display only the necessary tools in the first layer of the interface, organizing it in a logical manner so that the user could interact with all the applications in a simple and fluid way.
03.Recognize, listen to, and identify the needs and motivations of users, thereby interacting with them directly.
Benefits:
Positive, functional, effective, attractive, and empowering user experience.

Oglebay Resort
Solution: Location Based Entertainment

User Experience and Technical Design
To enrich the experience of Schrader Center visitors and promote interest in local wildlife, visitors participate in and learn from meaningful content in a fun way, raising awareness in them so that they continue learning and enjoying new adventures in nature, beyond Oglebay Park and the Center itself.

The interactive gaming experience was developed via the Kinect platform.
The game has three different worlds: two different experiences with salamanders, one of which is focused on eating and staying healthy to survive the winter, and the second experience is about defending territory from invasive salamanders. Lastly, the third experience is that of a dragonfly that allows users to see how salamanders live from a different angle.

The visitor starts the tour with a special card (RFID), one for each experience, which is scanned at a kiosk. Once the experience is activated, the user identifies which sticker they must stand at based on their height, in order to jump and enter the world of the salamander. Mother Nature gives instruction on how to move through the world and on what is required to be a slimy salamander or a green dragonfly. The user will also learn about the delicious insects that are part of the diet or they can face battles with other predatory animals, learning about the mysteries of nature while doing so. After completing their adventure, they can enjoy fun photos of their best moments and reinforce the messages learned about nature and its importance in our lives.

Based on this research, we decided to create a corporate website design where we can show all the work and passion of Bennett Peji.

Included are the following three concetps:
01. The hard icon
02. The business card
03. A formal context and design where we can all share the company's 22 years of experience

Bennett Peji is a professional designer where he always includes all of his passion in every piece of work. Based on our research, we decided to incorporate this icon as the main icon in order to create an asymmetrical design. The business card has successfully impacted both current and potential clients. Based on this information, we decided to add the essence of the business card in the primary menu to create a consistent connection between the tangible and the digital. Finally, one of the most important points for this website is to incorporate the hard edges, brand colors and a formal structure to reflect the same ambiance Bennett Peji Design works with every client.
